Leave-Behinds... [there has got to be a better name for this]
so my bright idea was to do a flip book for my post-parting present... maybe with the animation I do of my logo for Paige or the video project.
I found this site:

Flippies
but the minimum batch is 2,500 at 2.75 a piece which equals a coronary inducing $6,875
So now I'm going to try the home-hobbiest edition, which are more in my price range
Flipclips
UNRELATED
while I was looking at flip books I found this guy
Pagegangster

Who will turn your PDF into a flash book for 199 USD....Schäm dich!... why aren't we in on this? Isn't this a feature that the newest version of flash does for you? I don't know much about Flash.. but I know this seems wrong. This could be how the juniors raise money for their senior trip... robbing the less informed.

Square Pegs into Round Holes

So with everyone.... well not everyone.. there are certain projects that no matter how much you rework them they are always disappointing. For me it's that infernal DVD package and the magazine. The sad part is both of them are the projects that I wanted to be the best for me. A total redesign is impossible on both with our time restrictions... so I'll go with the magazine total revamp. Here's the last ditch effort for Haute though.
It's a six panel piece with the first and last panels having small booklets (at max 10 pages each). The panels fold into each other so that all the dark pieces are on the inside and the outside is all white with the logo in black on the front and back. The DVDs slip into a pocked behind the pictures and the pattern on the DVD matches the pattern on the top half of that section.
We'll see if it's going anywhere that is close to acceptable... to be continued...
